On a research trip to Lebanon, Schultz encounters a Syrian child deeply traumatised by a brutal act perpetrated by ISIS. As he grapples with the immense weight of the stories he encounters, there emerges a powerful testament to the human spirit’s ability to confront and transform its traumatic past.
